LITTLE DRAGONS (AGES 3 - 5)
Introduce your little dragon to martial art techniques and essential life skills!
Geared to children aged 3 to 5, the Little Dragons program fits your family’s busy schedule. By attending 2 of the 5 scheduled classes each week, your child will begin learning basic martial arts techniques with our team of skilled and experienced instructors.
Your child will also learn a number of essential skills that will help prepare them for starting school, such as:
- Stranger Danger
- 911 Phone Skills
- Fire Safety
- First Aid
- Drug Awareness
- Team Work
...and plenty more social and interpersonal skills!
Give your child access to an environment that will help them learn balance, strength, and flexibility in a fun, exciting, and safe setting. The Little Dragons program tailors learning to preschool-aged children to get the results you expect without discouraging or confusing students with advanced patterns or techniques.
Regular attendance over 12 to 24 months means your child will:
- Increase their martial arts ability
- Increase their confidence
- Learn valuable lessons in respect, social skills, and responsibility
- Gain the skills needed to graduate into our Little Ninjas program
Set the stage for your child to enter our standard martial arts program by attending our Little Dragons classes so they can work their way up to a Canadian SMA Academy Black Belt.
LITTLE NINJAS (AGES 5 - 7)
Help your child develop important character skills and martial arts abilities in a fun environment!
Prepare your child for success with the Little Ninjas program! By attending 2 to 3 of the 6 convenient class times each week, your child will begin following the standard CSMA curriculum. With small class sizes and age-specific techniques, our experienced instructors can spend more time helping your child gain confidence and skills.
What can you expect from our Little Ninjas classes?
- Action-packed classes designed to keep your child energized
- Disguised repetition to ensure beginning-to-end focus
- A fun environment promoting confidence and important development skills
- Safe lessons omitting contact sparring and jiu-jitsu until your child is ready for the Youth program (ages 8 to 13 years)
Once your child graduates to the Green Belt level (typically within 12 to 36 months), you can enroll them in the fast-paced youth program as they pursue their CSMA Academy Black Belt.
YOUTH KARATE (AGES 8 - 13)
Show your child that anything in life is achievable if you put your mind, body, and spirit into it!
The Youth Karate program puts your child on the path to earning their Canadian Sport Martial Arts Academy black belt. With 8 to 10 youth classes each week, dedicating your child to 2 or more is convenient even with your family’s busy schedule!
Each class focuses on one aspect of the overall Martial Arts program:
- Belt Curriculum
- Stances & Strikes
- Forms & Patterns
- Self-Defense and Jiu-Jitsu
- Weapons Training
The Youth Karate program incorporates elements from several different Martial Arts banners. Your child will have a thorough understanding of what it means to be a Martial Artist and develop important life skills in the process.
ADULT MARTIAL ARTS
It is never too late to get started in the martial arts.
Whether you’re just starting out or are sharpening your skills, we are here to help you realize your personal and physical growth through martial arts.
Martial arts programs are for everyone.
You need a program that allows you to progress at your own pace. Whether you can train for 5 days per week or are looking to try something new to maintain your fitness levels, you get to determine the path you take to success.
Our Academy has teen and adult classes that are open to students age 14 years and up. Martial arts is an activity that allows you to excel in your own way, at any age, with any level of skill.
- You’re not too old. Our average student age is around 30 years old.
- You’re not too busy. With convenient class times, there is a training time that will work for you.
- You’re not too much of a novice. Many of our top black belts are over 45, having only started when they were well into their 40s.
